Misleading promises?

After quite a lot of deliberation I ordered my first skin ever. The branding of Layers gave me confidence in its quality. However the product itself fell short.

Google pixel 7 has a curve on all its edges. I had anticipated that this could be a problem but expected some workaround from the Layers design team (afterall this is what you do for a living). The skin creates ugly ridges on all four edges and nothing has been done to address this issue. I tried to heat it with a blow dryer too but nothing would make the skin stick flush on the edge.

Nowhere on the website is there a mention of the same and the photos on the website too don't show the real look around the edges, obviously they are edited pictures.

Overall I am disappointed that the biggest phone skin brand in India came up short.
